Location
OBJECTIVES OF YWAP
- To provide care and support for infected beneficiaries/victims of HIV/AIDS in Free State.
- To provide peer education for school going youth at Primary and High schools in Free State.
- To promote awareness around women and child abuse in the community.
- To provide counseling to infected and affected people.
- Domestic violence awareness - providing de-briefing to the victims.
- To have training and workshops related to activities surrounding issues in the community.
- To conduct a comprehensive prevention program with a holistic approach in reaching the community.
Vision and Mission
Vision: to see people living with HIV/AIDS being empowered and understanding their status, by providing the means for them to take the initiative to educate the community of Free State, in order to fight the stigma of HIV/AIDS.
Mission: to provide care and support for people with HIV/AIDS through home-based care (HBC) and support groups in order to educate or empower other PLWHAs in the community of Free State.
